GAME #2: Boys Class A- #5 Clairton vs. #2 Vincentian
HALF: Clairton 39, Vincentian 39. Bryon Clifford and Terrish Webb with 13 each for Bears. Ryan Wolf leads a balanced Vincentian attack with 9 points.
END 1: Vincentian 19, Clairton 15, depite 9 first quarter turnovers by Royals.
FAST pace to start this one. Vincentian leads 9-8 with 4:30 left in 1st.
About set to go here for the Boys Class A Championship, with surprising Clairton and dynamic Vincentian.
GAME #1: Girls Class AA- #1 Seton-LaSalle vs. #2 Bishop Canevin
FINAL: Bishop Canevin 56, Seton-LaSalle 47. Johnie Olkosky finishes with 26 points for Crusaders.
Seton can't hit the big shot. 53-47 Canevin with 0:26 left. BC struggling from line though.
BC leads 52-47 with 1:11 to play.
Seton-LaSalle cuts it to 50-43 with 1:47 to play. Free throws upcoming for BC.
Canevin extended its lead to 50-33, but SLS is fighting back with a 5-0 run. 50-38, 5:48 to go.
END 3: Bishop Canevin 48, Seton-LaSalle 33. Olkosky with 7 3-pointers and 24 total points.
Olkosky is putting on a clinic. 21 points and 6 3's. 37-25 Canevin with 4:30 to go in 3rd.
A pair of quick 3's by Olkosky (now with 18 points) forces SLS timeout. 34-22 with 6:10 left in 3rd.
First half has a great pace. Quick ball movement and excellent shooting by Canevin. 2nd half now underway.
HALF: Bishop Canvin 28, Seton-LaSalle 22. Johnie Olkosky with 12 points for Crusaders. Naje Gibson with 11 for Rebels.
Now 23-14 Canevin. Four 3-pointers have been huge for Crusaders.
Surprising start to this one, with Canevin leading 18-8 after 1.
