CTK 2012 – New WPIAL Head Football Coaches

New Faces – New Places – New Hopes – New Dreams. Many are rookie head coaches while a couple of veteran coaches are starting over at new venues. Some schools have a new football coach for the first time in years while others continue to play roulette with their head coaching position. In all, it was a busy off season with a mind-numbing 27 coachings changes, the most in more than a decade and five more than last season. Here are the new football coaches that will be running the sidelines in the WPIAL this fall.
CLASS AAAA:
ALTOONA – John Franco replaces Tom Palfey
HEMPFIELD – Rich Bowen replaces Greg Meisner
KISKI AREA – Dave Heavner replaces Troy Wilson
MOUNT LEBANON – Mike Melynk replaces Chris Haering
PENN HILLS – John Peterman replaces Ron Graham
SHALER – Chris Siegle replaces Neil Gordon
CLASS AAA:
NEW CASTLE – Joe Cowart replaces Frank Bongivengo Jr.
TRINITY – Ryan Coyle replaces Ed Dalton
CLASS AA:
CHARLEROI – Ed Jenkins replaces Luke Mollis
EAST ALLEGHENY – Jason Ruscitto replaces Dennis Edwards
GREENSBURG CENTRAL CATHOLIC – Dan Mahoney and Matthew Federico replace Muzzy Colosimo
KEYSTONE OAKS – Matt Taylor replaces Nick Kamberis
KITTANNING – Frank Fabian replaces Sam Panchik
McGUFFEY – Ed Dalton replaces Derek Bochna
SUMMIT ACADEMY – John McCloud replaces Steve Sherer
VALLEY – Chad Walsh replaces Mark Kaczanowicz
WAYNESBURG – Russ Moore replaces Joe Kuhns
