Joe Geller doubled and scored on a Mitchell Epstein sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning as Fox Chapel got past Penn-Trafford, 4-3, in Section 1-5A baseball Monday.

Jeremy Haigh hit a pair of doubles for the Foxes (2-1, 1-0). Ian Temple homered and doubled for the Warriors (1-1, 0-1).

Allderdice 17, Highlands 11 – Zack Shook went 5 for 6 with a triple and four RBIs and Nadav Gil brought home five runs as Allderdice (1-1) outslugged Highlands (0-3) in a nonsection offensive explosion. Carson Goldberg and Beckham Ochoa each drove in three runs and Kyle Krason doubled and had a pair of RBIs for the Golden Rams.

Ambridge 6, Neshannock 1 – Nate Thomas singled, doubled and drove in three runs and Jack Perri threw five scoreless innings to lead Ambridge (1-1) to a nonsection win. Adam Rickel and Dom Cubellis doubled for Neshannock (0-1).

Avella 3, West Greene 1 – Winning pitcher Bryce Wright allowed one run on three hits and struck out eight, Isaiah Bradick doubled, and Brayden Fuller collected two hits and an RBI for Avella (2-0, 1-0) in a Section 1-A win. Lane Allison singled and drove in a run for West Greene (0-1, 0-1).

Beaver 1, New Castle 0 – Brady Mayo struck out 12 in five innings to earn the win and Corbin Sevcik didn’t allow a hit in two innings to pick up the save for Beaver (1-2) in a nonsection win. Ronald Sebak had two hits and an RBI for the Bobcats. Alex Rodgers had two hits and hard-luck losing pitcher Keelan Stewart gave up one run on four hits in six innings for New Castle (0-3).

Beth-Center 5, Frazier 2 – Winning pitcher Jackson Nopwaskey struck out 11 in six shutout innings and went 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs to lead Beth-Center (2-1, 1-0) to a Section 1-2A victory. Eli Wright and Luke Amon each had an RBI for the Bulldogs. Dalian McManus drove in a run for Frazier (0-1, 0-1).

Bishop Canevin 10, Sewickley Academy 0 – Quentin White singled, doubled and drove in four runs and winning pitcher Tyler Maddix struck out 11 for Bishop Canevin (1-0, 1-0) in Section 3-A win over Sewickley Academy (0-1, 0-1). Dom Varley, Kyle Olszewski and Lucas Golemiewski all singled and doubled and Aaryn Edwards tripled for the Crusaders.

Brashear 16, Woodland Hills 1 – Ryan Lane went 3 for 3 with a double, Dominic Sarokon was 3 for 4 with a triple, and True Crawford went 2 for 2 with four RBIs for Brashear (1-0) in a nonsection win. Aaron Concepcion went 2 for 2 for Woodland Hills (0-1).

Burgettstown 9, Charleroi 0 – Brodie Kuzior struck out 10 in a six inning one-hitter to lead Burgettstown (1-2, 1-0) to a Section 1-2A win. James Leuice doubled and knocked in three runs while Eric Kovach and Matt Bredel each had an RBI for the Blue Devils. Jackson Keranko was 1 for 3 for Charleroi (2-2, 0-1).

Butler 13, Knoch 3 – Boden Lenyk went 3 for 4 with two RBIs and Liam McElroy and Noah Collins also drove in two runs apiece to lead Butler (1-0) to a nonsection win. Logan Cypher singled, tripled and drove in a run for Knoch (1-1).

California 16, Mapletown 0 – Winning pitcher Caden Monticelli walked two and struck out eight in a three-inning no-hitter and went 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs to lead California (1-2, 1-0) to a Section 1-A win against Mapletown (1-2, 0-1). Chase Cicchitto, Kaden Weston and Kris Weston each had a hit for the Trojans.

Carlynton 11, Monessen 1 – Graydon Harvey drove in two runs, Connor Hart was 3 for 4 with an RBI and winning pitcher Dylan Sunderland struck out 10 to lead Carlynton (3-1, 1-0) past Monessen (0-3, 0-1) in Section 3-A. Christian Williamson doubled for the Greyhounds.

Carmichaels 7, Jefferson-Morgan 6 – Robbie Wilson-Jones hit a walk-off double in the eighth inning to lift Carmichaels (2-0, 1-0) over Jefferson-Morgan (2-1, 0-1) in Section 1-A. Liam Lohr also doubled in a run for the Mighty Mikes. Deakyn Dehoet went 4 for 4 with a double and two RBIs and Drew Adams doubled in a run for the Rockets.

Chartiers Valley 6, Moon 5 – Colton Prosperi knocked a game-winning two-run single in the sixth inning to boost Chartiers Valley (2-0) past Moon (0-1) in nonsection play. Troy Sallis doubled in a run for the Tigers.

Connellsville 9, Kiski Area 7 – Chase Sankovich doubled and drove in two runs while Anthony Piasecki, Grayden Gillott and Matthew Firestone knocked in a run apiece for Connellsville (1-2) in a nonsection win. Nate Witt doubled and drove in a run and Jake Smith had an RBI for Kiski (1-1).

Derry 9, Freeport 6 – A six-run fourth inning helped propel Derry (1-1, 1-0) past Freeport (0-2, 0-1) in Section 3-3A. Mason Fridley and Anthony Sacco singled twice and Roman Fridley doubled for the Trojans. Ryan Claypool had two hits, including a triple, for the Yellowjackets.

Eden Christian 16, Clairton 5 – Caleb Emswiler tripled and knocked in five runs, Josh Tilden and Charlie Wolf each drove in three, and Brady Hull and Brett Feldman each doubled and finished with two RBIs as Eden Christian (2-0, 1-0) rolled to a Section 3-A win. Daevon Gaynor hit a double for Clairton (1-2, 0-1). Jacob Janicki got the win for the Warriors.

Franklin Regional 15, Penn Hills 1 – N.J. Ramchandran went 3 for 4 with a double and four RBIs, Brady Yarabinetz drove in three, and Josh Hudak and Blake Bertucci each had a pair of RBIs for Franklin Regional (3-3, 1-0) in a Section 1-5A. Connor Lehman doubled in a run for Penn Hills (0-1, 0-1).

Greensburg Central Catholic 8, Ligonier Valley 1 – Tyler Samide collected three RBIs, Anthony Grippo doubled and drove in a pair, and winning pitcher Ethan Brody doubled in a run in a Section 3-2A win for Greensburg Central Catholic (2-1, 1-0). Duncan Foust went 3 for 3 for Ligonier Valley (1-2, 0-1).

Laurel 5, South Side 4 – Luca Santini smacked a two-run walk-off single as Laurel (1-0, 1-0) rallied from 4-1 down in the bottom of the seventh to edge South Side (1-1, 0-1) in Section 2-2A. William Zwolenik drove in a pair and Kolton Carlson had an RBI for the Spartans. R.J. Fischer went 2 for 3 with two RBIs for the Rams.

McGuffey 6, Southmoreland 0 – Lincoln Johnson tripled and had an RBI, Evan Seibert and Ryan Keith each drove in a run, and winning pitcher Brogan Meighen fanned nine as McGuffey (1-1, 1-0) shut out Southmoreland (0-3, 0-1) in Section 4-3A.

Mohawk 12, Quaker Valley 2 – Bobby Fadden and A.J. Verdi drove in two runs apiece and winning pitcher Vinny Pezzuolo struck out seven as Mohawk (20-, 1-0) cruised to a Section 1-3A win. Nolan Wagoner and Oscar Roig each had a hit and an RBI for Quaker Valley (1-2, 0-1).

North Allegheny 10, Central Catholic 3 – J.D. Costanzo and Charles Mau had two hits apiece and David Posey drove in two runs for North Allegheny (2-0) in a nonsection win. Landon Greene hit a home run and Carson Pettyjohn doubled for Central Catholic (3-1).

OLSH 10, Freedom 5 – Gino Williams and Brady Brazell each doubled and drove in three runs while Iseia Schulz was 4 for 4 with a double as OLSH (2-3, 1-0) beat Freedom (2-2, 0-1) in Section 2-2A. Logan Bickerstaff was 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Bulldogs. Ryan DeNinno got the win for the Chargers.

Pine-Richland 9, Bethel Park 2 – Keegan Diehl tossed six shutout innings and struck out eight to lead Pine-Richland (2-1) to a nonsection win. Anthony Mengine and Evan Johnston drove in two apiece for the Rams. Noah LeJeune homered and knocked in two for Bethel Park (1-1).

Plum 15, Armstrong 4 – Sean Franzi doubled and collected four RBIs while Anthony Jump and Dom Beyer each drove in two runs for Plum (3-1, 1-0) in a Section 1-5A blowout. Logan Badac and Mason Schrecengost each doubled and drove in a run for Armstrong (1-1, 0-1).

Punxsutawney 5, Indiana 4 – Coy Martino smashed a three-run homer and Parker Stahlman doubled to lead Punxsutawney to a nonsection win. Ethan Shank had two hits for Indiana (1-1).

Riverside 17, Ellwood City 2 – Zack Hare homered and finished with four RBIs and Bo Fornataro also smacked a home run and drove in three runs to lead Riverside (2-0, 1-0) to a Section 1-3A win over Ellwood City (2-1, 0-1). Winning pitcher Christian Lucarelli homered, doubled and knocked in two while Sam Barber and Sean Hayes each doubled and drove in two runs for the Panthers.

Riverview 11, Brentwood 2 – Eli DeVita smacked a pair of doubles and finished with four RBIs, Rece Stempfer doubled and drove in four, and Jack Loughren struck out 14 as Riverview (3-0, 1-0) bested Brentwood (1-1, 0-1) in Section 3-2A. Blake Davis went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Spartans.

Seneca Valley 7, Norwin 4 – Ryan Piekutoski tripled and drove in two runs and Owen Yarussi singled and doubled to lead Seneca Valley (1-0) to a nonsection win. Ty Cupp singled and doubled and Nolan Ryan had two hits and two RBIs for Norwin (1-1).

Serra Catholic 11, Apollo-Ridge 1 – Zach Black went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Max Black doubled, and Collin Holmes got the win as Serra Catholic (4-0, 1-0) defeated Apollo-Ridge (0-2, 0-1) in Section 3-2A.

Seton LaSalle 7, New Brighton 2 – Winning pitcher Gio LoNero struck out 14 and Mark Weber doubled and drove in a run to lead Seton LaSalle (2-1, 1-0) to a Section 2-2A win. Brock Budacki clubbed a two-run homer for New Brighton (0-1, 0-1).

Shenango 22, Beaver Falls 0 – Benny Santangelo went 3 for 3 with a triple and four RBIs, Jakob Kamerer doubled and Tyler Houk had three RBIs for Shenango (2-1, 1-0) in a Section 1-3A win over Beaver Falls (0-1, 0-1).

Springdale 20, Summit Academy 0 – John Hughes homered, tripled, drove in four runs and was the winning pitcher with seven strikeouts to lead Springdale (1-0, 1-0) past Summit Academy (0-1, 0-1) in three innings in a Section 2-A game. Andrew Redman singled, doubled and had 4 RBIs, Jackson Muller doubled twice and plated two runs and Alex Wylly singled, doubled and drove in three for the Dynamos.

Thomas Jefferson 13, Laurel Highlands 1 – Tyler Lesko was 3 for 4 with a pair of doubles and four RBIs, Alec Warden hit a two-run homer, and Elias Lippincott doubled in a run as Thomas Jefferson (6-0) rolled to a nonsection win over Laurel Highlands (0-2). Colin Pearson earned the win for the Jaguars.

Union 24, Rochester 0 – Gavin Lykins and Dayne Johnke each drove in two runs and Landon Eckert doubled and had an RBI as Union (1-0, 1-0) trounced Rochester (0-2, 0-1) in Section 2-A.

Upper St. Clair 15, Baldwin 3 – Josh Burlingame smashed a two-run homer, Eli Mandler and Nico D’Orazio each doubled twice and drove in two runs, and Aidan Crochier and Nolan Wilson each doubled and knocked in two runs as Upper St. Clair (2-2) crushed Baldwin (0-2) in nonsection play. Matt Nowicki went 2 for 3 with a double for the Highlanders.

Valley 4, Burrell 1 – Julian Danko went 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI and Wesley Schrock struck out eight for Valley (3-1, 1-0) in a Section 3-3A win over Burrell (1-2, 1-1). Nikolas Heakins singled twice for the Vikings.

Washington 6, Bentworth 3 – Winning pitcher Wayne Sparks-Gatling struck out nine and Ian Callan and Ayvari Chandler doubled as Washington (2-1, 1-0) beat Bentworth (0-2, 0-1) in Section 1-2A. Lucas Burt homered and drove in a pair for the Bearcats.

Waynesburg 10, Greensburg Salem 3 – Derek Turcheck collected three RBIs, Austin Surber doubled and drove in a run and winning pitcher Tyler Groves went 3 for 4 as Waynesburg (2-0, 1-0) defeated Greensburg Salem (0-2, 0-1) in Section 4-3A. Dom Rosensteel went 2 for 3 with a pair of RBIs for the Golden Lions.

West Allegheny 8, Steel Valley 2 – Brady Miller doubled and drove in three runs and Will Gubba slashed a pair of doubles and had two RBIs for West Allegheny (2-0) in a nonsection win. Logan Thomas doubled and knocked in a run for Steel Valley (0-2).

Western Beaver 2, Leechburg 1 – In the first game of a doubleheader, Vinny Ross struck out nine and allowed one run to lead Western Beaver over Leechburg in Section 2-1A. Ross went 1 for 3 and drove in a run for the Golden Beavers. Garrett Jones drove in the only run for the Blue Devils.

Western Beaver 10, Leechburg 9 – In the second game of a doubleheader,Ethan Wilson doubled and drove in a pair of runs while winning pitcher Christian Stefankis and Benji Valdez each had two hits and an RBI as Western Beaver (2-1, 2-0) survived a late Leechburg (1-2, 0-2) rally for a Section 2-A win. Jayden Floyd was 3 for 5 with three RBIs for the Blue Devils.

Yough 9, Brownsville 3 – Winning pitcher Nate Bell fanned 14 and Zander Aird homered, doubled twice and had two RBIs to lead Yough (1-3, 1-0) to a Section 4-3A win. Vincent Decules drove in a pair for the Cougars. Hunter Pelehac and Jonathan Vasbinder each doubled for Brownsville (0-1, 0-1).

Armstrong 10, Knoch 0 – Madison Baker threw a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts, Shelby Cloak hit a double and triple, and Isabel Prazenica and Jordyn Klingensmith hit a double apiece for Armstrong (1-0) in a nonsection win. Grace Hensch and Sylvia Luffy each singled for Knoch (0-2).

Belle Vernon 8, Fox Chapel 0 – Mia Zubovic hit a home run and Katie Sokol doubled for Belle Vernon (3-0) in a nonsection win. Mia Dunleavy went 2 for 2 with a triple for Fox Chapel (0-2). Talia Ross struck out 11 for the Leopards.

Blackhawk 16, Beaver Falls 4 – Kylie Prisuta hit a double, Morgan Alexander tripled, and Raina Johnson and Keira Rodu drove in three runs apiece for Blackhawk (1-0) in a nonsection win. Cali Legzdin singled and drove in two runs for Beaver Falls (1-1).

Central Valley 6, Keystone Oaks 5 – Maddie Spirnak hit a game-tying home run in bottom of seventh and Isabela Skrlac hit a walk-off RBI single in bottom of eighth for Central Valley (1-0) in a nonsection win. Kylie Stahl hit a home run for Keystone Oaks (2-1).

Charleroi 13, Burgettstown 3 – Emma Stefanick doubled and hit a grand slam and Madalynn Lancy, Sofia Celaschi and Avery Pendo each hit a double to lead Charleroi (4-0, 1-0) to a Section 3-2A win. Raya Sentipal and Layla Sherman each hit a double for Burgettstown (1-2, 1-0).

Chartiers-Houston 5, South Park 4 – Zaylee Fonner hit an RBI double in top of the eighth and Ella Richey doubled for Chartiers-Houston (2-0) in a nonsection win. Kylie Mettrick hit a two-run homer for South Park (1-1).

Chartiers Valley 8, Upper St. Clair 5 – Lily Duffill hit a home run, Taylor Walsh hit two doubles, and Delaney O’Connor and Kylie DeSalle hit a triple apiece to lead Chartiers Valley (2-1) past Upper St. Clair (2-2) in a nonsection win.

Ellwood City 12, South Side 0 – Amber McQuiston struck out 11 in a five-inning perfect game in a nonsection win for Ellwood City (3-0) over South Side (1-2). Kiley LeViere and Sara Schwarz each had two RBIs and Keira Rozanski, Riley Prestopine and Julia Nardone each had a double for the Wolverines.

Freeport 7, Karns City 2 – Winning pitcher Sydney Selker struck out 18 and hit two home runs and Abby DeJidas had a double and home run for Freeport (2-0) in a nonsection win over Karns City.

Hopewell 13, Ambridge 5 – Isabella Katkich went 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, Kara Barkovich hit a triple and home run, and Allison Ramaley tripled to lead Hopewell (1-1) to a nonsection win. Mackenzie Keber went 3 for 3 for Ambridge (0-3).

New Castle 8, Shenango 3 – Keara Mangieri and Olivia Hood hit two doubles apiece and Aycealea Rose hit a triple and home run to lead New Castle (1-0) to a nonsection win. Brianna Aluisa doubled for Shenango (0-2).

North Hills 4, Hampton 3 – Abigail Sutton hit a three-run homer, Emma Culver tripled, and Addyson Wrigley went 3 for 3 to lead North Hills (3-1) to a nonsection win. Aidan Hanna doubled for Hampton (1-1).

Norwin 9, Canon-McMillan 7 – Rachel Minteer had a double, home run and four RBIs, and Isabella Deering and Josey Michalski hit a double apiece to lead Norwin (2-1, 1-0) to a Section 1-6A win. Hailey Swope went 3 for 3 with a double, home run and six RBIs for Canon-McMillan (0-1, 0-1).

OLSH 16, Brentwood 1 – Morgan O’Brien hit three doubles and McKinley Walsh and Elizabeth Smith had a double and triple each for OLSH (2-0) in a nonsection win. Emma Thompson doubled and Paige Boehm hit a home run for Brentwood (1-1).
