North Allegheny’s Advaita Sircar has added a third section singles title to his lengthy resume.

Sircar, the 2024 WPIAL Class 3A boys singles champion, defeated Tigers teammate Evan Kaufman, 6-1, 6-1, in the Section 2-3A finals Thursday.

Freshman Johan Harmon defeated Will Bojalad, 6-3, 6-4, in a battle of Sewickley Academy teammates for third place. The top four finishers advance to the WPIAL tournament next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Section 1-2A – Greensburg Salem’s Silas Morris added a major highlight to his senior season with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over top seed Ravi Stanger of Winchester Thurston in the section singles finals. Morris was a section semifinalist as a sophomore and junior. Mt. Pleasant sophomore Austyn Gross defeated Valley senior Tyler Quinn in the third-place match, 6-3, 6-1.

Section 2-2A – Defending WPIAL singles champion Max Henson of Belle Vernon won a section singles title without dropping a game in four matches. He defeated Montour’s Jonah Camardese in the finals. In the third-place match, Frazier’s Nolan Taucher defeated South Park’s Praves Wagley, 6-2, 6-1.

Section 3-2A – Quaker Valley junior Will Meagher got his revenge in the section singles finals, defeating returning WPIAL runner-up Justin Garvey of North Catholic, 6-2, 7-5. In last year’s section singles final, Garvey defeated Meagher in three sets. In a closely contest third-place match, Quaker Valley’s Tanner Schultz got past North Catholic’s Alex Weber, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (9).

Section 4-2A – In a battle of the top two seeds, No. 1 Ben Crefeld of Blackhawk defeated No. 2 Cody Clayton of Central Valley, 6-3, 6-4. Blackhawk also claimed third place with Mike Lanigan defeating Central Valley’s Hunter Hazelwood, 1-6, 7-6 (1), 7-6 (3).
