The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, East Boros Chapter, inducted its 40th class Oct. 12, 2017, at the Edgewood Country Club in Churchill. A sold-out crowd welcomed the newest group of eight who joins more than 300 other enshrined area athletic greats. Seated, from left, are Kathy Samsa, accepting on behalf of the late John Samsa (Turtle Creek graduate); Kim Thomas (Gateway); Amy (Williams) Scheuneman (Plum); and John Jenkins (East Allegheny).
