Rushel Shell is staying true to his colors. Once blue and gold, always blue and gold. Shell will go from the blue and gold of Hopewell High School to the blue and gold of Pitt next season. For one school, it was a repeat golden performance. For the other, it marks the return to title town for a third time in four years. Shady Side Academy won the WPIAL Girls Team Golf Division I championship on Thursday at the Cedarbrook Golf Club in Belle Vernon again after winning the championship in 2008 and 2009. Two of the most successful boy’s golf programs in WPIAL history are golden again after winning district crowns Thursday afternoon at the Cedarbrook Golf Club in Belle Vernon.
