They are few and far between, but we have seen teams pull off perfect football seasons before in the WPIAL. However the new kids on the block in Class AAA went for perfection in a different way that has never been done before. One Season - One Championship. There are 126 schools in the WPIAL that field a high school football team. While a majority still begin at 7:30pm, 38 of them now kickoff their home games at 7:00pm, including the enire Class AAA Keystone Conference. Last weekend put a stamp on the end of yet another season of fantastic wrestling. The WPIAL produced 5 state champions and 48 total medallists (24 in both AA and AAA) over that time in Hershey. While there were many great wrestlers to watch and follow throughout the season, the MSA Sports Network had whittled the superb list down to the top ten wrestlers of 2010-2011 for our All-Mat Team.Riverside’s Jenny Ard is The Golden Girl in WPIAL Girls AA Diving Finals

For Jenny Ard, this has been a long time coming. Ard, the senior, has finished in fourth place in the WPIAL AA Diving Championships two years in a row, but was able to overtake Kathleen Dunst during the final round of competition to bring the gold medal back to Riverside Friday afternoon at South Park High School.MSA Sports Top Ten – WPIAL Team Wrestling – 12/23/2010
