Four teams have been crowned district champions as the WPIAL playoffs have come to an end as we unveil the final edition of the Trib HSSN weekly Power Rankings for boys and girls lacrosse.

Pine-Richland and Mars captured gold in the boys lacrosse side, and Shady Side Academy and Oakland Catholic won girls titles.

The Rams were impressive in their championship performance, and the Fightin’ Planets, Indians and Eagles won in close finals. So close that the Shady Side Academy victory took two days to complete.

Those above champions, along with the Pine-Richland girls and Quaker Valley boys, prepare for the PIAA playoffs starting Tuesday. They are all trying to make history, as no WPIAL lacrosse team has won a state championship.

Here are the final rankings for the season with overall records and last week’s rankings included. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.
