Player of the Week

Jackson Hutter

Mt. Pleasant, Sr., RB/MLB

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound senior had quite a game on both sides of the ball in helping the Vikings rally to defeat Freeport, 45-23. He scored two touchdowns, rushed for 100 yards, caught two passes and made eight tackles, including three for a loss, and a sack for the Vikings.

Players to Watch

John Wetzel

Latrobe, Jr., QB/FS

The 6-foot, 195-pound junior rushed for two touchdowns and completed 12 of 16 passes for 159 yards and two scores in a win against Laurel Highlands.

Lucas Moore

Hempfield, Sr., RB/OLB

The 5-11, 190-pound senior has rushed for 243 yards this season, including 59 yards on 15 carries against Penn-Trafford. He also has 12 tackles.

Julian Varrenti

Yough, Sr., RB/LB

The 6-2, 215-pound senior has rushed for 219 yards and a touchdown. He also has a quarterback sack and 22 tackles.
