A rainy Thursday night grew the Saturday schedule by one as the third week of the high school football season concludes. College football kicks off Week 3 in Western Pennsylvania with the opening of conference play for the President's Athletic Conference. The PSAC continues East vs. West crossover action, before divisional play starts next week. The WVIAC also starts conference play this week. A bit of surprise was supposed to be in store for high school football fans with THREE games on this first night of Week Three. Crossover play dominated the PSAC for weeks 2 and 3, while the PAC squared off with the MAC in cross-state battles with not good results for the local squads. Chick's Picks has always prided herself on being a connoisseur of all genres of music. Her ear turned especially for country music, however, after hearing Kenny Chesney's latest hit, " Boys of Fall." After seeing the video, Chick's Picks was even reminiscent of her own scholastic days in the WPIAL, long before she found fame in her prognosticating career.
