Fresh into the second half of the regular season, new life seemed to be breathed into several players as their performances rose just as the mercury outside was on the rise from the last two weeks. The first Friday in October had more of a first Friday in September feel to it as the gaudy number put up seemed to indicate.

Big things were expected of Sto-Rox this season and the Vikings have lived up to expectations so far. Especially the big part.A close examination of Sto-Rox’s statistics shows the Vikings have more big plays than Broadway and those big plays are one of the main reasons coach Ron Butschle’s team has an undefeated 4-0 record.
