■ JEANNETTE 21, CLAIRTON 6
No. 1 Jeannette used two Seth Howard touchdown runs and a Melik Gordon 10-yard fumble return for a score to defeat No. 2 Clairton.

■ EAST ALLEGHENY 35, VALLEY 20
East Allegheny quarterback Daniel Kasmier rushed for 116 yards and four touchdowns and passed for another 151 yards.

■ NORTH ALLEGHENY 27, PINE-RICHLAND 7
North Allegheny was held scoreless for nearly three quarters before scoring touchdowns on three consecutive possessions.

Mt. Lebanon’s defense held the Vikings in check all night, practically eliminating the passing game.

Hollis Mathis threw for 174 yards and 3 touchdowns. Running back Tank Smith who ran for 100 yards on 13 carries and added a rushing touchdown.

Peters Township’s defense was impressive, holding Baldwin to a handful of first downs all night.

■ BETHEL PARK 20, UPPER ST. CLAIR 14
J unior Sean McGowan carried the ball 37 times or 230-yards and a touchdown.

■ GATEWAY 34, McKEESPORT 6
Friday’s win capped the first unbeaten regular season for the Gators since 1986.

■ SOUTH FAYETTE 31, MONTOUR 0
The Lions (9-1, 7-0) senior quarterback Jamie Diven threw for three touchdowns and ran for another.

■THOMAS JEFFERSON 37, WEST MIFFLIN 6
TJ lost one fumble, tossed three interceptions, dropped several passes, turned the football over on downs once, and punted once — all in the first two quarters.

■ SHADY SIDE ACADEMY 28, AVONWORTH 10
Senior quarterback Skyy Moore was the focal point all evening as he rushed for 336 yards and all 4 Shady Side touchdowns on 27 carries.

Senior running back Jake Mineweaser finished with 119 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 20 carries.

■ PENN-TRAFFORD 30, FRANKLIN REGIONAL 14
Junior quarterback Gabe Dunlap ran for 106 yards and accounted for three touchdowns, and junior running back Caleb Lisbon rushed for 163 yards and a score.

■ BELLE VERNON 55, RINGGOLD 0
The teams combined for 18 penalties, including seven personal fouls, for a combined 185 yards.

■ GREENSBURG SALEM 17, INDIANA 0
A 49-yard scoring run by Aaren Putt and a 15-yard keeper by Trent Patrick sandwiched a 30-yard field goal by Wyatt Ramer to earn the 17th playoff berth in school history.

■ DERRY 35, BURRELL 14
Derry (9-1, 7-1) didn’t complete a pass against Burrell (2-7, 2-5), taking control via the run early.

■ MT. PLEASANT 49, UNIONTOWN 13
Quarterback Lucas Pieszak accumulated more than 1,000 yards in the season for the second consecutive year, and wide receiver Jake Johnson set the school record for the most catches in a season (43).

■ ELIZABETH FORWARD 44, YOUGH 0
Quarterback Zach Benedek returned an interception for a touchdown, ran for a score and threw for two more as the Warriors shut out Yough.

■ LATROBE 39, HIGHLANDS 13
Backed by AJ Rock’s season-high 207 yards rushing and a stout defensive effort, the Wildcats closed the regular season in convincing fashion.

Shaler led 7-0 after the first quarter and broke the game open with 28 points in the second quarter.

With the score tied at 7-7, Armstrong quarterback Jalen Price threw an out-route that Kiski linebacker Jack Colecchi jumped, intercepted and returned 100 yards.

■ NORTH CATHOLIC 64, DEER LAKES 3
The Trojans held a 47-point advantage at halftime.

■ LEECHBURG 44, SPRIGDALE 21
Jake Blumer rushed for 220 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries.

■ KNOCH 26, FREEPORT 7
Knoch’s Matt Goodlin rushed for 234 yards and two touchdowns, giving him a single-season school-record 1,440 yards.

■ CHARLEROI 34, APOLLO-RIDGE 24
Apollo-Ridge held a 17-7 advantage at the half, but Charleroi took the lead for good with 9 minutes, 18 seconds left in the game.
