The Road to Hershey is complete as 12 girls basketball teams are headed to Chocolate Town to play for a state championship.

It is pretty balanced with seven districts represented at the Giant Center. Here is the district breakdown for the finals.

District 6 is the leader with three teams (Westmont-Hilltop, Marion Center and Bishop Guilfoyle).

District 2 (Scranton Prep and Mountain View), D-10 (Cathedral Prep and Kennedy Catholic) and D-12 (Cardinal O’Hara and Archbishop Wood) have two each.

Three other districts have one team: D-1 (Spring-Ford), D-3 (Lancaster Catholic) and D-7 (Blackhawk).

Half of the No. 1 teams from last week’s Trib HSSN state rankings lost, including Perkiomen Valley in 6A, Wyomissing in 4A and Union in A, leaving three teams riding a top-ranked wave into the finals with Archbishop Wood in 5A, Lancaster Catholic in 3A and Kennedy Catholic in 2A.
