Trib HSSN PIAA boys basketball rankings: Week of Jan. 14, 2019

One team cracked the top five and one slid out among the six classifications and there was some movement at the top in the two highest classes.

Roman Catholic lost by one point to the No. 2 team in Class 4A Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast dropping the Cahillites behind Kennedy Catholic in Class 6A. York William Penn fell from the top to No. 5 when the Bearcats lost to New Oxford opening the door for Mastery Charter North to take over No. 1 in Class 5A.

In the WPIAL Sewickley Academy and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart remained in the same spots on the brink of their game Tuesday at OLSH.

Here is the PIAA top five in each of the six classifications for the week of Jan. 14. Included are the records and last week’s ranking:
