Zion Moore scored 25 points and Trevor Kovatch added 19 to lead Belle Vernon to a 69-65 boys basketball victory Tuesday night, handing Uniontown its first Section 3-4A loss.

Tommy Davis added 11 for the Leopards (10-5, 5-2). Jeremiah Hager scored 21, Jamire Braxton added 17 and Notorious Grooms had 12 for Uniontown (15-3, 6-1).

Albert Gallatin 82, Laurel Highlands 54 – Mykel Belt led Albert Gallatin (7-8, 3-4) with 30 points, Blake White followed with 17, Tyrone Burton had 11 and Shymere Wilson added 10 in a Section 3-4A win. Ethan Koffler scored 13 points for Laurel Highlands (2-17, 0-7).

Aliquippa 51, Sewickley Academy 20 – Cameron Lindsey led the Quips with 10 points as Aliquippa (13-4, 7-0) defeated Sewickley Academy (10-7, 2-5) in Section 1-2A play.

Allderdice 81, Obama Academy 53 – Logan Golle scored 32 points and Ma’ayan Kohai added 13 to lead Aliquippa (14-3, 6-0) to a City League win. Torrien Perkins scored 16 and Kevian Harris added 10 for Obama Academy (5-10, 4-2).

Baldwin 67, Canon McMillan 57 – Nathan Wesling scored 18 points, Matthew Schnek had 15 and Nathan Richards added 14 to lead Baldwin (14-4, 5-2) to a Section 2-6A win. Evan Morris and Roman Koenemund scored 15 points apiece for Canon McMillan (8-10, 3-4).

Beaver 79, Blackhawk 66 – Brady Mayo led Beaver (10-9, 6-4) with 22 points, Nick Krzeczowksi followed with 21 and Ty Butler added 12 in a Section 2-4A win. Tyler Heckathorn and Justin Shanor scored 27 points apiece for Blackhawk (4-14, 1-7).

Bethel Park 70, Trinity 63 – Shawn Davis scored 24 points, Michael Mathias had 13 and Tanner Pfeuffer added 12 to push Bethel Park (10-8, 5-2) to a Section 1-5A win. Jacob Dunkle led Trinity (8-10, 3-4) with 22 points and Jonah Williamson had 14.

Brashear 76, Westinghouse 49 – Titus Gillett hit five 3-pointers and scored 32 points to lead Brashear (6-9, 3-3) to a City League win. Karmello Harshey and Nasir Pullie each added 14 and Garett White had 13 for the Bulls. Terrell Wofford led Westinghouse (1-9, 1-5) with 26.

Burgettstown 65, Beth-Center 32 – Zack Schrockman led Burgettstown (14-5, 7-2) with 26 points, James Leuice had 17 and Carson Tkalcevic added 10 in a Section 4-2A win over Beth-Center (5-13, 3-6).

California 77, Mapletown 66 – Vinny Manzella led California (5-13, 4-3) with 31 points, Noah Neil had 20 and Jacob Ziolecki added 11 in a Section 2-A win. Braden McIntire scored 21 points and Roger Gradek had 20 for Mapletown (2-13, 1-5).

Carmichaels 47, Bentworth 37 – Dominic Colarusso scored 17 points to lead Carmichaels (4-13, 1-8) to a Section 4-2A win. Ben Hays scored 19 points for Bentworth (3-14, 2-8).

Carrick 57, Perry 37 – Brayden Fisher scored 16 points, Ray Saunders followed with 11 and Kelenn Ward chipped in 10 for Carrick (7-9, 3-3) in a City League win. Keith Johnson scored 13 and Javon Diamond added 12 for Perry (2-12, 1-5).

Central Catholic 60, Seneca Valley 25 – Vernon Settles scored 11 points and Payton Wehner added 10 as Central Catholic (11-7, 6-1) took care of Seneca Valley (6-13, 2-5) in Section 1-6A.

Central Valley 64, Ambridge 62 (OT) – Isaiah Jeter scored 20 points, Cameron DeVincentis had 14 and Jude Coombs added 11 to lead Central Valley (11-6, 4-4) to a Section 2-4A win. Jared Astorino scored 15 points and Adam Fernandez had 13 for Ambridge (6-13, 3-6), including a steal and half-court shot to send the game to overtime.

Chartiers-Houston 53, Frazier 31 – Avery Molek scored 16 points, Nate Gregory had 12 and Jake Perchinsky added 11 to lead Chartiers-Houston (14-5, 7-3) to a Section 4-2A win. Dalian McManus led Frazier (9-10, 4-5) with 16 points and Trey Whitehead had 10.

Chartiers Valley 64, South Fayette 53 – Jayden Davis scored 28 points and Julian Semplice added 15 to power Chartiers Valley (10-9, 3-4) to a Section 4-5A win. Michael Plasko scored 28 points and Gavin Orosz finished with 18 for South Fayette (10-8, 4-3).

Clairton 77, Leechburg 41 – Taris Wooding scored 22 points and Qua’Jon Miller added 13 to lead Clairton (10-10, 6-4) to a Section 3-2A win. Jayden Floyd led Leechburg (2-16, 0-9) with 19 points. Mason Scitticatt had 12.

Deer Lakes 51, Burrell 48 – Billy Schaeffer scored 15 points and Collin Rodgers added 13 to lead Deer Lakes (15-2, 9-0) to a Section 3-3A win. Macky Bennis scored 19 and Tucker Bitar had 10 for Burrell (11-5, 6-4).

Derry 77, Apollo-Ridge 29 – Nate Papuga scored 33 points, hitting the 1,000-point mark for his career, to lead Derry (11-5, 5-4) to a Section 3-3A win. Karter Schrock scored 12 for Apollo-Ridge (2-17, 0-9).

Eden Christian 63, Nazareth Prep 44 – Luke Gronbeck scored 16 points, Nathan Garrett and Grayson Reinhart had 14 points apiece and Mason Dean added 10 for Eden Christian (9-8, 5-1) in a Section 2-2A win. Will Evans scored 15 points for Nazareth Prep (5-10, 1-5).

Elizabeth Forward 83, Southmoreland 63 – Isaiah Turner led Elizabeth Forward (11-6, 3-3) with 27 points, Charlie Meehleib had 16 and Cy Herchelroath added 14 in a Section 3-4A win. Ty Keffer scored 16 points and Noah Felentzer had 13 for Southmoreland (14-5, 3-4).

Ellwood City 67, Freedom 25 – Joe Roth scored 23 points and Nathan Williams added 19 for Ellwood City (11-7, 6-3) in a Section 1-3A win over Freedom (0-16, 0-8).

Fox Chapel 70, Plum 55 – Jefferson Moorefield-Brown scored 15 points, Thomas Patterson had 13 and Asher White added 11 to lead Fox Chapel (10-9, 5-2) to a Section 2-5A win. Will Beckner led Plum (6-12, 0-7) with 18 points and Max Grice had 12.

Hampton 67, Indiana 32 – Peter Kramer led Hampton (15-3, 7-0) with 18 points, Alex Nyilas followed with 16 and Liam Mignogna added 10 in a Section 1-4A win. Hunter Martin scored 10 points for Indiana (8-10, 2-5).

Highlands 76, Freeport 55 – Cam Reigard scored 21 points and Bradyn Foster added 18 for Highlands (11-6, 4-3) in a Section 1-4A victory. Jordyn Tavarez had 13 and Troy Belak 10 for the Golden Rams. Gavin Glista led Freeport (5-12, 2-5) with 21.

Knoch 57, Greensburg Salem 46 – Jackson Bauman and Derek Lang scored 18 points apiece and Teegan Finucan added 12 to lead Knoch (12-6, 5-2) past Greensburg Salem (3-15, 1-6) in Section 1-4A.

Ligonier Valley 83, Valley 73 – Parker Hollick poured in 43 points, including 11 3-pointers, and also collected 10 rebounds in a Section 3-3A win for Ligonier Valley (4-14, 2-8). Michael Wisniewski added 22, Brian Wisniewski had 13 and Noah Krupp finished with 10 for the Rams. Tayshawn Hawkins and Keyziyah Clay each scored 27 for Valley (4-12, 2-6).

Mars 83, West Allegheny 58 – Ryan Ceh scored 45 points to lead Mars (10-9, 4-3) to a Section 4-5A win. Brandon Bell led West Allegheny (11-8, 0-7) with 34 points.

McGuffey 53, Charleroi 41 – Chris Ealy scored 15 points and Ryan Keith added 10 to lead McGuffey (12-6, 3-5) to a Section 4-3A win. Bryce Large led Charleroi (7-13, 2-8) with 14 points and Jackson Keranko had 13.

McKeesport 84, Latrobe 77 – Lamont Perkins led McKeesport (5-10, 1-6) with 32 points, Dominique Cochran had 18 and Keith Spell added 15 in a Section 3-5A win. Max Butler scored 25 points and Ian DeCerb had 17 for Latrobe (8-10, 3-4).

Mohawk 56, Beaver Falls 51 – Bobby Fadden scored 19 points and JJ Nail and Mason Hopper added 11 points apiece to lead Mohawk (12-6, 8-0) to a Section 1-3A win. Da’talian Beauford led Beaver Falls (6-11, 5-5) with 17 points and Braylon Pitts had 13.

Monessen 58, Jefferson-Morgan 55 – Lorenzo Gardner scored 30 points and Timothy Kershaw added 12 to push Monessen (14-3, 6-1) to a Section 2-A win. Jase Bedillion scored 15 points and Dayton Marion had 12 for Jefferson-Morgan (12-7, 4-3).

Montour 60, South Allegheny 52 – Jake Wolfe scored 29 points, Kaleb Platz had 14 and Ama Sow added 12 to push Montour (14-3, 5-1) to a Section 4-4A win. Mike Michalski scored 15 points and Jeston Beatty Jr. had 14 for South Allegheny (12-6, 3-4).

Moon 71, North Hills 54 – Elijah Guillory led with 28 points, Aiden Reesman added 24 and Carter Tumulty had 14 for Moon (14-4, 6-1) in a Section 4-5A win. Eric James scored 18 points and Nathan Schanbacher had 11 for North Hills (10-7, 4-3).

Mt. Lebanon 64, Hempfield 49 – Nate Girod scored 17 points to lead four players in double figures for Mt. Lebanon (15-3, 6-1) in a Section 2-6A win. Brody Barber added 15, Liam Sheely 14 and Riley Farabaugh 12. Drew Gordon scored 22 for Hempfield (4-15, 0-7), hitting six 3-pointers. Daniel Husenits added 10.

Neighborhood Academy 73, Aquinas Academy 57 – Shamar Simpson scored 32 points and Courtney Wallace added 22 to lead Neighborhood Academy (13-4) to a nonsection win. Jake Guillen led Aquinas Academy (11-6) with 23 points and Sam Duer had 18.

Neshannock 73, Riverside 48 – David Kwiat scored 16 points and Anthony Bonner added 14 for Neshannock (15-3, 8-2) in a Section 1-3A win. Talan Anderton had 11 and Jino Mozzocio 10 for the Lancers. Rob Janis, Logan Young and Will Sullivan each scored 13 for Riverside (7-12, 3-6).

North Allegheny 72, Pine-Richland 53 – Joe Dopirak scored 25 points, including the 1,000th of his career, to lead North Allegheny (8-11, 5-2) in Section 1-6A. Anthony Sciote hit six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points for the Tigers. Ty Iwanonkiw added 12. Carson Baer scored 14 and Vasilios added 11 for Pine-Richland (6-11, 2-5).

North Catholic 90, Hopewell 30 – Max Hurray, Joe Waskiewicz, Brady Koziara and Jason Fredericks each scored 13 points for North Catholic (11-6, 7-2) in a Section 2-4A win over Hopewell (7-11, 1-8).

Northgate 75, Shenango 68 – Ty Daniels scored 19 points to lead five players in double figures for Northgate (14-3, 6-1) in a Section 1-2A win. Josh Williams had 14, Kaden Kemp 13, Austin Mitchell 11 and Landon Lockett 10. Brody McQuiston scored 28 and Jimmy Roe added 14 for Shenango (10-7, 4-3).

OLSH 57, Steel Valley 39 – Tiernan McCullough scored 20 points and Jake Johnson added 14 for OLSH (14-4, 8-1) in a Section 2-3A win. Nahjir Norris led Steel Valley (0-18, 0-10) with 17 points and Nate Yuhas had 14.

Penn Hills 56, Armstrong 43 – Robert Thomas scored 16 points and Cameron Glenn had 15 to lead Penn Hills (11-6, 4-3) to a Section 2-5A win. Jack Valasek led Armstrong (10-9, 2-5) with 16 points.

Peters Township 79, Connellsville 23 – Led by 19 points from Jack Dunbar, 17 from Mickey Vaccarello and 15 from Dylan Donovan, Peters Township (13-5, 5-2) defeated Connellsville (2-16, 1-6) in Section 1-5A.

Pittsburgh Christian Academy 60, Cheswick Christian Academy 49 – Aaron Powers scored 17 points, Jeremy Nicklas added 16 and Adam Meshanko had 11 to lead Pittsburgh Christian. Grant Rochkind scored 23, Joseph Rosio 12 and Brady Rochkind 10 for Cheswick Christian.

Quaker Valley 73, West Mifflin 57 – Zachary Washingotn led Quaker Valley (9-8, 4-3) with 25 points, Joseph Coyle followed with 24 and Dana Kromah added 17 in a Section 4-4A win. David Fleming scored 22 points and Brandon Battles and Braeden Walker had 10 points apiece for West Mifflin (9-8, 2-5).

Rochester 61, Avella 54 – Xavier Rigby scored 24 points and Brady Gorman added 17 to push Rochester (12-5, 6-1) to a Section 1-A win. Bryce Wright led Avella (9-10, 4-3) with 22 points and Westley Burchianti had 17.

South Park 58, Brentwood 49 – Luke Scarff scored 25 points, Danny Batista added 15 and Cooper Hochondoner had 13 for South Park (11-7, 5-4) in a Section 2-3A win. Shane Palmer scored 15 for Brentwood (5-14, 3-7).

South Side 63, Laurel 31 – Andrew Corfield hit for 35 points and Carter Wilson added 11 to lead South Side (7-10, 2-5) past Laurel (2-15, 0-7) in Section 1-2A.

Thomas Jefferson 95, Ringgold 69 – Evan Berger led Thomas Jefferson (15-3, 7-0) with 19 points, Noah Prosser followed with 18 and Brody Evans added 13 in a Section 1-5A win. Daryl Tolliver scored 19 points and Szyair Dungee had 18 for Ringgold (3-15, 0-7). Joe Mendyk and Nicholas Trklja also scored 10 points apiece for the Jaguars.

Upper St. Clair 68, Norwin 30 – Christian Ito scored 15 points and Tyler Robbins and Peja Strobl added 11 each to lead Upper St. Clair (12-5, 5-2) over Norwin (7-10, 1-6) in Section 2-6A.

West Greene 70, Geibel 53 – Lane Allison scored 25 points and Parker Burns followed with 22 for West Greene (11-5, 6-1) in a Section 2-A win. Gary Tarbuk led Geibel (0-19, 0-7) with 22 points and Evan Jellots had 14.

Winchester Thurston 51, Propel Braddock Hills 34 – Henry McComb scored 17 points and Anthony Pipkin contributed 10 for Winchester Thurston (9-7, 3-3) in a Section 2-2A win. Dylan Tomer scored 15 for Propel Braddock Hills (4-12, 0-5).

Bishop Canevin 63, Avella 35 – Amari Elliott scored 18 points and Isabella Sysak added 17 for Bishop Canevin (4-12) in a nonsection win. Ava Frank scored 15 and Haleigh Rush had 14 for Avella (3-15).

Cheswick Christian Academy 33, Pittsburgh Christian Academy 27 – Grace Kostick scored 13 points and Allie Szramowski added 10 for Cheswick Christian. Dannah Sebelia led Pittsburgh Christian with 12.

Fox Chapel 49, Hampton 46 – Isabella Barbour scored 18 points and Lyla Jablon added 12 as Fox Chapel (6-13, 4-6) won in Section 3-5A. Meghan Murray scored 16 and Kat Milon added 11 for Hampton (11-7, 6-3). The Foxes led by 14 at the half.

Indiana 47, Gateway 14 – Bella Antonacci scored 13 points to lead Indiana (13-4, 8-0) past Gateway (2-16, 0-10) in Section 1-5A.

Keystone Oaks 62, Seton LaSalle 60 – Bailey Rieg led with 19 points, Payton Hamilton followed with 16, Fran Pacak had 12 and Hannah York added 10 for Keystone Oaks (13-4, 4-3) in a Section 2-3A win. Mallory Daly scored 32 points and Addie Lonergan had 13 points for Seton LaSalle (11-6, 5-2).

Mt. Pleasant 42, Geibel 39 – Morgan Gesinski scored 15 points to lead Mt. Pleasant (12-6) to a nonsection win. Emma Larkin led Geibel (12-6) with 21 points.

Neshannock 60, Knoch 57 (OT) – Rian Owens and Payton Newman scored 16 points each and Sophia Bonner added 10 to lead Neshannock (13-5) to a nonsection win. Adah Fuller scored 24 and Neah Ewing added 16 for Knoch (10-8).

North Allegheny 58, Pine-Richland 38 – Lydia Betz put up 15 points and Caroline Henderson and Kellie McConnell added 11 each for North Allegheny (16-2, 5-2) in a Section 1-6A win. Madison Zavasky led Pine-Richland (5-11, 3-4) with 19 points.

Penn-Trafford 58, Montour 50 – Olivia Pepple hit for a career-high 29 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Penn-Trafford (13-5) to a nonsection win. Lauren Marton had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Elle Visco also scored 10 for the Warriors. Tiffany Miller scored 20 and Jordyn Wolfe finished with 16, including four 3s, for Montour (8-10).

Propel Braddock Hills 42, Neighborhood Academy 18 – Kayla Knight scored 15 points to lead Propel Braddock Hills. Aamira Abdul-Waalee led Neighborhood Academy with eight.

Riverview 42, Hillel Academy 9 – Katerina Tsambis scored 16 points to help Riverview (13-5, 5-1) past Hillel Academy (0-9, 0-6) in Section 3-A.

Avonworth 6, Wheeling Catholic 3 – Brendan Hennigan had two goals and an assist and Conner Ralston also scored twice for Avonworth (14-3-1) in a Class A win. Richard Mlsch had a goal and an assist. Landon Prager and Aden Cooey each had a goal and an assist for Wheeling Catholic (6-8-1).

Carrick 14, Trinity 3 – Tanner Heidkamp collected five goals and an assist and Ivan Manculich had two goals and five assists to lead Carrick (9-4-2) to a Varsity D2 win. Seamus Coyle scored twice for Trinity (1-14).

Peters Township 3, Canon-McMillan 0 – Kyle Thomas made 23 saves and Ryan Walker, Landon Klein and Luca Maietta scored to lead Peters Township (10-4-2) to a Class 3A win over Canon-McMillan (1-14).

Pine-Richland 5, Cathedral Prep 1 – Cullen Campbell scored twice and Jeremy Casper, Josh Lanyard and Isaac Baker also scored for Pine-Richland (11-4-1) in a Class 3A win. Hyatt Hetz scored for Cathedral Prep (6-9-1).

Quaker Valley 3, McDowell 2 (OT) – Max Modrovich scored the overtime winner and Ben McHenry and Jace Vasbinder also scored to lead Quaker Valley (14-0-1) in Class A. Bryce Peterson and Harrison Parra scored for McDowell (4-9-1).
