With two weeks left in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Bowling League’s regular season, teams and individuals are jockeying for championship-tournament positioning with some still fighting to qualify for the postseason.

Following a 17th straight section championship last week, the Burrell wrestling team traveled to Bedford for the Thomas Chevrolet tournament. Burrell placed second behind Chestnut Ridge and scored 225.5 points.

The girls soccer teams from Greensburg Central Catholic and Shady Side Academy will be separated next season. SSA moved up to Class AA.
