Now if only the NHL versions would follow in the footsteps of high school hockey. The three winners of the 2011 PIHL Penguins Cup Championships, Upper St. Clair, Bishop Canevin and Mars have swept the Flyers Cup winners to win all three state title games in the 2011 Pennsylvania Cup Championships Saturday afternoon at the Ice Line Arena in West Chester.Mount Lebanon Queens of the PIAA Girls Court Again and Again and Again While Archbishop Wood, Villa Maria & Steel-Highspire Also Win Titles
For a third straight year, the Mount Lebanon Blue Devils are sitting on top in Pennsylvania in Class AAAA. It wasn't pretty, but he Blue Devils were golden again by hanging on to a one point victory. It was a clean sweep on the alleys for Hempfield as both the boys and girls bowling teams captured titles in the 2011 WPIBL team championships.
