Hopewell hires Rochester’s Weiss as football coach

Hopewell hired Rochester assistant Matt Weiss as its new football coach, the school announced Monday. Weiss, a Rochester graduate, coached at his alma mater for the past 10 years. The Rams were WPIAL Class A runners-up this past season. At Hopewell, Weiss replaces Mark Washington, who resigned after four seasons.
