The resurgent Jaguars, who scored wins over both Belle Vernon and Trinity this season after failing to qualify for the postseason last year, gained the upper hand early, as they plated a run in the first inning on a double steal.

Sekowski reached base in four of her five plate appearances and had two stolen bases. But, Ringgold would score two more runs in the top of the 4th inning to extend the lead to 5-2. The Titans would threaten but not score in the 4th, 5th and 6th innings as they stranded two base runners in each inning.

PIAA Approves 6 Classes for Football, Hoops, Baseball & Softball
October 8, 2015
Are you ready for six classifications in Pennsylvania high school football? And boys basketball? And girls basketball? And baseball? And softball? Six classifications in all of those sports will be a reality in the 2016-17 school year. That was the gigantic news that came out of a PIAA board of directors meeting Wednes day in Mechanicsburg. But there was more big news to come.
