The milestone points came on a 3-pointer with about three minutes left in the first half. Spinelli scored a team-best 16 points, but the Spartans suffered a 55-40 loss to the No. 1 Scotties. St. Joseph will face Bishop Canevin on Wednesday in the third-place consolation.
